No candidate will be allowed to appear in the written exam without fulfilling all the eligibilities which are given below. If any candidates found to be no-eligible at the time of admission, he/she will get disqualify from their candidature.
- Candidate must belong to Indian national. OCI card holders will be also eligible to apply.
- Applying candidate must pass their 12th or its equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- The qualifying examination should be passed with minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserve category candidates) in PCB and English subjects.
- Appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply.
- The lower age limit to apply will be 17 years as on 31st December in the year of admission.
- The upper age limit will be 25 years and 5 years of age relaxation for reserve categories.
Selection Procedure

Karnataka MBBS merit list 2021
KEA will publish the Karnataka MBBS 2021 merit list in an online mode at the official website. The Karnataka MBBS merit list will be prepared on the basis of NEET 2021 scores. Candidates whose applications will be accepted and documents will be verified will be included in the merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2021. The authority will first release the provisional Karnataka MBBS/BDS merit list followed by the final merit list. The Karnataka NEET 2021 merit list will mention candidate details, NEET roll no, score, and All India Rank.
Karnataka MBBS counselling 2021
KEA Bangalore will conduct the counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2021 in an online mode. Three rounds of Karnataka MBBS/BDS counselling will be held including a mop-up round in case of vacant seats. Students who will be included in the merit list will be eligible for Karnataka NEET 2021 counselling. During counselling, applicants will have to register online and fill their choices of courses and colleges for Karnataka MBBS admission 2021.
Based on the choices filled by candidates, seat matrix, reservation factors, state merit rank, and NEET 2021 scores, authorities will release the Karnataka MBBS seat allotment list. Those included in the Karnataka NEET 2021 seat allotment will be required to pay the tuition fee and report to the allotted college.
