Step By Step Procedure of West Bengal MBBS/BDS Counselling:

In order to make you understand about the procedure of counselling, I’ve divided the process into five simple steps:

Step 1: Registration for MBBS and BDS Counselling:

Candidate need to register in official WBMCC website and select his category a1, a2 or b. Upon selecting the category, candidate must pay the registration fee.

Step 2: Document Verification:

Candidates who had completed their registration will now book an appointment for document verification. Below are the few documents which might required while verification:

  • 10th class and 12th original mark sheet.
  • Local quota certificate if admitted in local quota.
  • Copy of NEET UG result 2021
  • Cast certificates needed if you belong to any other case other than General Category.
  • School leaving certificate/Transfer certificate/Passport/Birth certificate for the proof of birth date, place of birth and Indian citizenship of the candidate
  • Domicile/Native certificate of West Bengal of the candidate if he is a candidate of other state but native place is West Bengal.

Once the candidate is ready with above documents, he can book his appointment in nearby help centers and get his documents verified.

Step 3: Choice Filling and College Locking:

Upon verifying documents, candidate needs to select the courses (MBBS/BDS) and colleges form the list shown on official website of WBMCC and lock the colleges.

Step 4: Results of West Bengal Medical Counselling:

Upon filling and locking the colleges, candidate can check his counselling results on mentioned date in official website. You can simply login using your credentials and check the counselling results(whether the seat is allotted or not).

Step 5: College Reporting and Document Submission:

Once the candidate got allotted in counselling, candidates must report to the College within time mentioned by WBMCC to get their seat allotted.

After Getting the seat allotted, candidate must submit the original documents at the college:
